Watercolour Love Scrapbooking
Today, as promised, I'm showing you what I made with my Watercolour Love mini kit that I gave away earlier in the week (you can see that post and download the kit if you haven't already here) this page was made using all of the kit printed onto 190gsm textured paper (I got mine from eBay) to keep the watercolour look, all I added was some Bazzill Cardstock as a base, stitching, a gold doily and some embellishments, here is what I made...
I added some gold stitching to the bottom using my 'Sew Easy' from WRMK - love this little gizmo, it's a total must have!!
I made lots of layers, fringing some as a border to add even more texture...
The hearts from the embellishment sheet I layered together tying or stitching them in the middle, the gold doily I used in three different places and I added some wooden hearts and a feather and some enamel dots...
The tags were cut from the embellishment sheet in the kit and layered together with some button twine tied in a bow...
I hope this shows that you can still be creative with printables (once it's all printed you have the same as with any type of supplies - paper and embellishments!) and that you don't have to be a techie whizz - just print and go!!
If you've made something with the kit, we would love to see, please share here in the links or over on my Facebook page.
Thank you for dropping by today!

A Tinseltown Christmas Scrapbook LO
Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout made with my new Tinseltown Christmas CD. A lot of my scrapbooking friends have said to me that they probably wouldn't buy a craft CD as they use 12x12 papers and unless you have a super fancy printer you can't print the sheets off at the right size. So, to prove that CD's can be used for scrapbooking I have made a Layout using my new CD...
The pic is me and my little sisters messing around last Christmas, hiding in with the wrapping paper to see if my dad would throw us out :o)
I very rarely use a whole sheet of patterned paper anyway, I usually always use a plain Bazzill or cardstock base and use bits of my patterned paper so the A4 sheets were perfect for that (if you do use a whole sheet of patterned paper you could always try these in a mini book or as 6x6 papers). Of course the CD also contains a ton of embellishments and journaling cards etc... that are perfect for scrapbooking, as you can see I've barely added any extras here, almost everything is from the CD. Here are a couple of close ups...
You can also see lots of fantastic scrapbook pages made with the CD over on Claire's blog. And we have some more lovely Tinseltown inspiration today from Jaine and Claire, please pop over and take a look!
I'd love to see your Tinseltown projects (scrapbooking or otherwise!) you can leave me your links here or share them over on my Facebook page :o)

Challenge Blog
This week we have a fantastic sponsored challenge up on the Challenge blog! I'm so pleased that GallimaufryUK is our sponsor this week - as you know I design for this digi scrapbook company and her fabulous kits have got me hooked on digi-scrapping! I also print out tons of the elements to use on hybrid projects.
The design team have come up with some fabulous projects, both hybrid and digital, using the 'Bloomin Lovely' kit, to inspire you, pop over and see them all here, this is my digi layout:
and here are some hybrid cards I made previously which you may remember...
Pop over and check out the prizes, because, get this, every single entrant to the challenge will receive a $1 voucher for the GallimaufryUK store - how amazing is that?! So what are you waiting for???
Remember you can use the kit for both hybrid and digital projects. I am working on a digi-scrap tutorial, so if you would be interested then look out for that!

Hybrid Crafting
One of my favourite things about CD crafting and Digi Stamp Kits is that there is always something to hand, you never run out! But of course, nothing compares ot the feel and smell of paper so I like to print out all my Digi bits, cut them out and keep them in a box for quick cards and projects - you can't fail to be inspired when you open a box full of hundreds of embellishments!!
Thats why working with GallimaufryUK's Digi Kits has been such a dream for me - not only has it given me the chance to experiment with and improve my digi scrapping but I love the elements that she designs, especially for my Hybrid projects. A lot of people are scared of Craft CD's and Digi Scrapbook kits but there is no need to be, you don't need to be digital-savvy to use them (if I can do it nayone can, LOL) and I print them all out and use on my cards and Layouts. Here are a couple of projects I've done recently, a Layout of Fuzzybutt, I love this pic of her, cute!
You wouldn't think that corrugated card was printed would you?! A definite space saver for me as I used to have a giant box of corrugated card bits, now it takes up hardly any space.
Now I'm off to get ready, it's the day before the royal wedding so I'm off out on Kate's Hen Night (not officially of course, I don't think she frequents the bars of Essex...) but I will be enjoying a vodka or two nonetheless :o)

What Am I Up To Now??!
Today I had a lovely and very productive day in my newly revamped studio finishing off samples for CHA - thanks to everyone for the comments yesterday! It is definitely much more enjoyable with its current layout - I was starting to feel uninspired in the old space.
Today I have another bit of news, I am now working on the creative and marketing side of a fab Digi-Scrapbooking company!
GallimaufryUK is run by the lovely Penni, a very talented digi designer who makes lovely digi-scrapbooking kits. I must say I've never been that excited by digi scrapping until now! I am also helping her out with getting the marketing side of her business organised, something I've taken a step back into recently - nice to have some diversity in your work!
She has also very kindly agreed to sponsor one of our challenges over at the Challenge Blog in the near future so keep an eye out for that!
I will be posting some of my digi layouts very very soon, as well as some hybrid stuff, you know me, I need the feel of paper still! LOL - in the meantime you can buy Penni's kits over at Scrapdish - her new 'My Love' Valentine kit was only released today - I havent even had chance to look at it properly!
