Today I'm sharing a set of quick and simple cards that you may have seen as they were recently featured in Making Cards magazine (yay!) For these I used the Kaisercraft Hummingbird range which features one of my fave colour palettes - teal, red and yellow - delish! (You can click on these pics to see them bigger)
These were made using papers from the range along with the die cut shapes pack and a few of the stickers from the sticker sheet. For stockists of this range you can email Jones & Co, the UK distributor. The only extras I added were some twine, gems and stamped sentiments from one of my fave Hero Arts sets.
Each card took around 10 minutes to make - perfect for when you're in a rush or making lots!
Thanks so much for dropping by today!

A Fine & Sunny Card...
Today was the perfect day to share this card, as its made form the Kaisercraft 'Fine & Sunny' stamps and today was a fine and sunny day!
This is another card I made while filming for the new Kirstie Allsopp Channel 4 craft show (Kirstie's Vintage Home) recently (Kirstie actually coloured that yellow bird!)
Today I also received a copy of Simply Cards & Papercraft in the post and there is a teeny feature on my Britannia CD (yay!) - just in time for your London / Great Britain projects to tie in with all the coming events.
As I've received lots of requests my next post is going to be my Dreamy Apple Pie recipe - don't miss it! You can rustle one up for the weekend - heaven!
Thanks for dropping by today!

Mini Portfolio
Last week I made a mini portfolio from a lovely Crown shaped Kaisercraft book - every time I tell people what I do they say "ooooh, lets see" so I thought if I had a tiny portfolio I could carry in my giant Mary Poppins style bag I could actually show them. It also gave me an excuse to break out the Ranger distress crackle paint (tattered rose - my all time favourite!) it works so well on wood and I loved the final effect. I printed some pics of previous work and even managed to squeeze in some ATC's as they were a perfect fit!

I also managed to use some of my lovely Melody Ross textile tags as they had lovely sentiments like "I make Stuff" which fitted in perfectly.
Right now I'm working on some Scrapbook Layouts for samples and for myself - I have sooo many photo's to scrap, this is what happens when you fall behind! I'll post some pics soon. I'm loving the new Cosmo Cricket lines, Material Girl and Garden Variety - they're actually not so new now, Ive had them for a few weeks but only just got to the stage where I could actually cut into them!
