*New* Superhero Dad & Doll Greeting Cards

Today I shared a little peek on my Facebook / Instagram of a greeting card I'd designed recently...
There is also this version...
The big surprise is when you open the card, you find this...!!
A full dress up outfit to make your card into a dress up paper doll, so you can dress up your Dad / Husband / Friend / Brother as a Superhero. The cards are available in 3 colours (teal, blue and grey) and fully customisable, so you can choose the skin and hair colours and the name on the front of the card (as well as whether you have the pants or dressed versions - I thought most people would want their dad fully clothed as opposed to in his pants!!)

If you'd like to buy this card, you can do so here in my notonthehighstreet.com shop (they will be available here on my website from tomorrow)

I'd love to know what you think!

Thank you for dropping by today

Introducing the newest Special Editions Stamp Designer!

Today I'm sharing some good news, you probably know by now that my 'Special Editions' stamp line is one that I created a few months ago, asking some select artists to create stamps for my range - I did this for a few reasons, firstly, it's hard to break into stamp design and I knew some talented people that I thought deserved a shot! and secondly, I wanted their stamps!! The artists selected are people whose style and work I love, whose work I think fits well with mine (i.e. not similar but coordinating)

My first Special Editions artist was Jaine - I had loved Jaine's work for a while, she works with me on my Design Team and I'd seen some of her sketches and was so pleased she was interested in taking up my (at the time, quite experimental!, offer) I'm pleased to say, my experiment paid off and I've now taken on another artist, the very lovely, Clare Brown!
You may recognise Clare as she has been on my Design Team since the beginning of my journey! Her first stamps are cute and fun and I just loved watching them come to life as Clare texted and emailed me pictures of her sketches as she went, it's been a great process! I've also seen what she has in store for some of the future sets and I can't wait to launch them over the next weeks and months :o)

Clare's first stamp sets are now available here in my shop alongside Jaine's fantastic new Christmas stamps (all in newly redesigned packaging as well!)

I hope you'll join me in giving Clare a big warm welcome to the Special Editions team, please do remember to send us your links to anything made with Sarah Hurley or Special Editions stamps as we'd love to see and perhaps feature some in some very exciting forthcoming projects! ;o)

Documented365 & A Few of My Favourite Things... Kit Club News!!

More exciting news to share today, this time for Documented365 and A Few of My Favourite Things...
Firstly, you may have been missing your Documented365 products and inspiration - the response to the launch of Documented365 was HUGE and it still continues to be a best seller, it was so overwhelming that I decided to do a much bigger product range than initially planned, so launching in 2 weeks is the next phase of Documented365 including Journaling Cards, Papers, Stamps and much more! These are perfect to use on their own or combined with Project Life, Sn@p or any other similar memory keeping system - I will be bringing you regular inspiration of how I use mine both on its own and in conjunction with my Project Life kits, my Design Team will also be contributing their own take on this fab memory system - from the modular journaling cards to full layouts, albums and everything in between, we'll have everything covered!

Secondly, even more exciting, is that from this month, the A Few of My Favourite Things... kits will have a Documented365 add on every single month! bringing you extra journaling cards, stamps and embellishments all tailored to this style of scrapbooking, be sure to sign up now to ensure you are first in line to snap one up alongside your regular kit! Kit club members will be seeing some of the first products and have exclusives within the kits that won't be available anywhere else!

You'll be seeing the Documented365 website and blog have a little makeover over the next 2 weeks and some sneak peeks both here and on my Facebook page - I hope you'll love what I've done!

More exciting news to come, but that's all for today - all this excitement is making my head spin! :o)

*New!* Gatsby Digi Scrap Kit & Stamps

Today I'm releasing a new kit called Gatsby - you may have already got a peek at this if you checked out our Lookbook latest issue yesterday. The kit is all very 20's / Art Deco themed and features four of my hand drawn character digi stamps (I had great fun drawing these ladies!) the stamp set, of course, matches perfectly and there will be matching paper available in around a weeks time (you can pre-order and it will be sent as soon as it arrives - I won't hold your stamps up, and you will only pay one postage charge - win!)

Here is a little look at the Digi Kit...
and here are the stamps (there is also a lovely large latice background stamp that coordinates perfectly!) and a preview of the paper pack... (you can click on them to see them bigger!)

and finally, a gorgeous card that Elaine made from the digi kit...
You can find the whole Gatsby range here in my shop!

Introducing... Stamp & Stitch! and Stitch & Doodle!

Today I'm so excited to reveal two new products!! These are things I've been working on for some time, I have been choosing and refining the best designs from some of my most popular and testing them out to make sure they are perfect and now I'm ready to show them off!

First up, Stamp & Stitch!
the stamps (which actually look fab even without stitching!) are in clear cling sets, you stamp using any inkpad, use a pricking took to pierce every other dot (for best results if using embroidery thread)  and then stitch - simple!

Secondly, Stitch & Doodle!
The one in the picture is actually exclusive to this months 'A Few of My Favourite Things...' kit (which you can get a subscription to if you're quick! here) but they work in exactly the same way - simply doodle around the doodle one or pierce every other hole in the stitching one and then stitch with your embroidery thread, cotton etc...

These are now available here in my shop and lots more are in production coming soon - I'd love to know what you think! There are also some new art journaling / doodle stamps in today too, including a boy one!

Thank you for popping by today!

*New* Oz Digi Kit & a Free Digi Stamp!

Today, we return to Oz! Last year I discontinued a number of kits and craft CD's, one I discontinued was the Oz craft CD and not a week has gone past without me being asked about it and if I will bring it back. I love the Wizard of Oz so I had the perfect excuse to get drawing again and revamp it and recreate the kit, even better than before!
The kit is available for a limited time at the bargainous price of £4.50 here in my shop (it should be £6.50) and as well as papers and embellishments contains a record 13 digi stamps and 6 SVG cutting files! My team have been working with the kit for a week or so and you can see the first project by Ian here on his blog - there will be lots more inspiration with this kit in the upcoming Lookbook magazine (look for more news on that next week!)
To celebrate the release of this kit I've designed a 14th digi stamp which is completely free for you here on my blog today, just click here to get yours (both black and white and colour files are included!)

I'd love to see your creations so please feel free to share here in the comments or over on my Facebook page.

Have a lovely weekend...

New Products! and a Design Team Call...

Big post today! First up, lots of new products, I've done a massive update to the shop and you can see all the new products here, but I especially wanted to mention my favourites, firstly... the new stamps in my Journaled365 Art Journaling range, there are 3 sets plus some large (by demand from my lovely DT!) and small texture stamps, I'm totally in love and was playing with them last night, with some Pentel pens and watercolours, here is a sneak peek at what I made from my Instagram feed, I will share the full project next week...

Also in today, my new Day Books! Another project I've been working on and perfecting for a while these A5 size mini books make a perfect mini book / journal or day book and have 20 printed patterned pages inside for you to fill up and doodle on! Here is a little peek at those....

As I said, you can see all of the new products including the stamp sets and day books here (and snap up one of the last 2 kit places if you're signed up yet for this month!)

and now, the moment I know a lot of you have been waiting for... I haven't had a DT call for a long time now, almost a year again! but we are now rushed off our feet with lots of new products and projects and we are looking to welcome a couple of new people to our small friendly team!

Please do read the requirements carefully, due to the number of applications we receive we unfortunately won't be able to consider anyone whose application doesn't meet the criteria.

Our team is small, friendly and fun, like a little (slightly odd!) family... We are looking for one or two new members. You must be comfortable with at least one of the following - traditional paper crafting and / or digi scrapping and / or hybrid crafting (i.e. CD's and digi stamps) and / or stamping - card makers, scrapbookers, digi scrappers, altered artists, art journalers are all welcome! to work with my existing range of digi kits, stamps, CD's, paper and other products as well as all of the exciting new products being launched soon. (To view the product range and some samples you can check out my website or Facebook page) If you have other crafty skills in addition to those above, please do let us know, you may be just the person you are looking for for one of the new ranges or products not yet launched!

You will be required to join in our Challenge Blog every month and leave comments for entries as well as making samples for the quarterly Lookbook magazine, the 'A Few of My Favourite Things...' monthly kit club, product releases, marketing purposes, shows and exhibitions. There will also be the opportunity to get involved with tutorials for Craft Academy and other projects. You must have a regularly updated blog with clear photographs of your work and be able to commit to at least a 6 month term.

As I mentioned, we are a friendly team with many of the girls with me since I first launched back in 2010, those who weren't already friends have become so over that time! We regularly have DT blog hops, internal competitions and prizes and opportunities to work with the other companies I am in partnership with.

To apply, please send me an email here with your blog link, a little about you and 2-3 pictures of your favourite work. Please also let me know what your speciality is - cards / scrapbooking / altered and mixed media art and / or other crafts and if you belong to any forums, are on social media or have any galleries i.e. 2peas, flickr etc etc.... If you are a digi scrapper, please let me know what software you work with.

The call is open to UK and International applicants and will close at midnight GMT on 31st March - the new DT members will be notified approximately one week later. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me via email or my Facebook page. We are looking forward to seeing your work!!

Let the fun begin! :o)
