Last week was my final post on the Basically Bare blog, I have been with Basically Bare since they started out so I took the time to review some of my favourite projects I've made for them, including this scrapbook page...
You can see my final post and all of the projects over on their blog here.
Today has been super productive, lots of design work and some book research as well as lots of product planning. So much is happening at the moment that I have piles of lists to make sure nothing gets forgotten and no deadlines are missed. The only trouble is, I have so many lists, I need a list of my lists to keep track of them all! ;o)
Thanks for visiting today.

Basically Bare - my last CHA 2012 Album
This week I was featured over on the Basically Bare blog with my final CHA 2012 album I made for them...
This is using the Krafty Keepsakes album, I used lots of the recent October Afternoon Holiday Style papers and embellishments to make this album - love this range! The album is full of policy envelopes so I made my layouts on the front - they are the perfect fit for your photographs! and then filled the inside with journaling and keepsakes.
You can see more details and close ups over on the Basically Bare blog.
Thanks for looking!

CHA Project for Basically Bare
Earlier this week one of my CHA projects was featured over on the Basically Bare blog, you may remember I showed you a tiny peek at this album...
I made this with the Basically Bare Polly's Pockets Album which was one of the new CHA releases and lots of lovely October Afternoon papers.
You can now see all of the pages here on the Basically Bare Blog. This one was so fun to work with! I'll be sharing another one soon.
Today was filled with more writing, designing and planning, all my samples are chased up and should be here soon, then I have to check and proof them all and finalise any changes before production.
I noticed today that the pile of notebooks and journals I keep on my desk for daily use has grown, there are now 7 plus my diary, I also have a few more occasional use ones and some sketchbooks in a crate at the side of my desk for easy reach. I thought maybe that was kind of excessive but after posting that on Twitter and Facebook I realise I am not the only one! Lists must be a creative thing I think, and I do love pretty stationery! It was great to hear everyones 'system' though, if you get chance, look at my facebook page and have a read :o)

Steampunk Bird Tag
This week Basically Bare featured my Steampunk Bird Tag on their blog, and I wanted to share it here too for anyone that may have missed it...
I made the base of the tag look like rusty metal using a copper paint dabber and the fab Letraset Alcohol Inks and used Basically Bare elements and Kuretake Pens to create my mechanical bird, there are also some Tim Holtz elements in there too - how I could I make a grungy project without them!
You can see the full details on how I made this here on the Basically Bare blog.

Today I have been working on a super exciting project due to launch in the first week of January - my Design Team are involved on this one too and they all loved it so I'm sure you will too!
I've also been making lots of plans, I love to plan and set goals it makes me happy and excited for the year ahead! so I've spent the day surrounded by journals, diaries, planners, file cards and folders of things making sure I'm all set. Another great reason I love to make plans is, sometimes it can be a bit of a downer once Christmas is over, but if you've planned a year of exciting things to look forward to, plans to set in motion and goals you can't wait to achieve then you don't feel that way.
B is home for Christmas now too so he has been working with me and helping as well as catching up on lots of little DIY bits and pieces around the house, it feels good to get everything ready for a fresh start in the New Year - exciting times ahead! Of course Fuzzybutt is super excited to have her daddy home, her tail hasn't stopped wagging all day :o)
I'll be sharing another project tomorrow so I hope you will pop back!

Busy Busy!
Wow, what a busy few days it has been! I've been spending my days from around 7am at my desk, making plans for the year ahead, finishing off projects and illustrations and all my usual bits and pieces, and my evenings from around 9pm in my studio finishing off projects, prepping new things, getting organised and starting work on the samples I'm doing for CHA, its a fun but crazy manic time!
Yesterday I done some alcohol ink experiments with the new Letraset Alcohol Inks, here is a sneeky peek, I can't show the whole thing as its for my next DT project for Basically Bare (it will be on the blog on Sunday)
I completely ruined my manicure but it was totally worth it! the colours are gorgeous, they are the same ink as in your Promarkers so everything matches perfectly. The bottles take some getting used to though as the ink flow is quite quick (compared to others I've used) my advice is to use a big craft mat and expect to get messy initially! once I got used to them it was fine and I'm really pleased with the results!
Tonight I will be finishing off my Christmas Cards (B done his usual 'I need 20 cards by tomorrow, can you whip something up' thing - grrrr... it's lucky he's pretty! lol) and a couple of last minute Christmas projects I'll be sharing here on the blog over the next few days.
Thank you again to everyone who took time to leave comments on my last post and take the time to join mine and Fuji's facebook pages - I can't wait to start sharing :o)

Happy Halloween!
So today is the scariest day of the year and I must confess that tonight we will be sitting in the dark hiding from the Trick or Treaters as me and B ate all the candy already - oooops! LOL
Today I'm sharing a card I made for Basically Bare, I'm so happy that their products will now be distributed in the UK by Kuretake who I also design for, it means the products will be more easily available here in the UK for those that have asked me about stockists - yay!
I embossed the chipboard frame with black sparkle embossing powder and matted onto a felt frame piece before adding the digi stamp using 3D foam (I used the pre-coloured version for quickness!)
If you are looking for the previews of my new Tinseltown CD please see the post below, a big 'Thank You' for all of the fantastic feedback - so happy you're all loving it and I can't wait to see your creations when you get your copies! This week my lovely Design Team will be sharing inspiration on their blogs every day, there are some great projects lined up! Today there are projects from Claire and Jess on their blogs, if you would like to pop over for some inspiration!
Finally, I just have to share this picture. My MIL gave me a vintage craft book she had in the loft and I cannot stop laughing at this guy! (apologies if it's someone you know, LOL) I'm sure in the 60's / 70's when this book was made he was probably quite a catch ;o)
Thanks for dropping by
